Dr. Sam J. Kleitches, DDS
Dr. Sam Kleitches is a native Charlottean. He graduated from South Mecklenburg High School. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Dental School, he opened his practice in August of 1989 and has been serving the Charlotte and surrounding communities since. Dr. Kleitches is dedicated to the care of his patients and strives to maintain the highest standard of dentistry through continuing education. Dr. Kleitches enjoys reading, sports, spending time with his family, and is an active member of his church.
Dr. Thayer Bouali, DDS
Dr. Thayer Bouali, DDS, is a highly accomplished dentist with a long-standing commitment to both patient care and professional development. After earning his DDS from Case Western Reserve University in 1994, he pursued an advanced prosthodontics fellowship at the same institution, refining his expertise in restorative dentistry. From 1996 to 1998, he served as a faculty member at Case Western, sharing his knowledge with aspiring dentists.
In 1999, Dr. Bouali joined DentalOne Partners in Cleveland, Ohio, where he became a Partner and later the Director of Advanced Clinical Training. In this role, he designed and implemented comprehensive training programs for over 420 dentists within the company, ensuring they provided high-quality care across multiple locations.
Dr. Bouali moved to Charlotte in 2016 and co-founded FRESHDental, a thriving practice that has grown to seven offices with 11 associates. Today, he continues his leadership as a Partner with Guardian Dentistry Partners, while remaining actively involved in clinical training and professional development for his colleagues. With a focus on innovation and excellence, Dr. Bouali is dedicated to enhancing both the practice and the future of dentistry.
Dr. Shreya Patel
Dr. Shreya Patel is a highly trained general dentist who is passionate about providingcomprehensive, personalized care for patients of all ages. She believes that great dentistrystarts with listening — taking the time to understand each patient’s goals, concerns, andlong-term health so she can create treatment plans that truly support both immediateneeds and lasting results.
Dr. Patel holds an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) certificate andbrings extensive experience in complex restorative care, including crowns and bridges,Invisalign, smile makeovers, surgical extractions, and implant placement andrestorations. She is Invisalign Certified and Laser Therapy Certified with over sevenyears of experience, and she completed advanced Sleep Apnea training in February2025.
What sets Dr. Patel apart is her commitment to building trust and making every patient feelcomfortable, heard, and confident in their care. She is known for her gentle approach andfor creating a positive, supportive environment where patients feel empowered about theiroral health.
Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.She is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, allowing her to connect with a diverse patientcommunity. She is also proud to give back through volunteer work, including Give Kids aSmile Day in Richmond, VA and the Missions of Mercy Clinic in Grundy, VA.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of GeneralDentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society, and she is excited to care for patientsat Dr. Sam Kleitches Family Dentistry beginning January 5, 2026.
